Noah emailed me in December about his music project. I opened the message. Before Fallin’ came out, we spent twenty days building the visuals around it.

I directed the visual side of the single’s promotional content.

We had two shooting days to make a month of material. I split the shoot between controlled light in the studio and an outdoor location, with the same visual language running through both.

I had planned for sunset. We arrived to thick fog, with no time to reschedule. We changed the shots around the weather instead. The landscape became quieter and stranger, and fitted the emotional side of the music.

I wrote about those decisions in The Creative Lens.
