I filmed Diana Kononykhina at work in Salsomaggiore, following the small gestures and thoughts behind a garment.

Pins, fabric, a sewing machine. The film stays close to her hands, then opens out to the room around her. Her voice carries the story while the work continues.

She remembers putting her mother’s drawings on the wall as a child. Now she studies how a corset is built, feels the quality of a fabric, and keeps finding something she could change.

The film comes back to her idea of what a garment should do: adapt to the body wearing it.
